When it came to my contents page I had to step back and think of exactly what i wanted, In my head i knew i wanted to create a youthful, vibrant, colorful kind of look, however whilst still keeping a "too cool for school" mellow kind of attitude, I needed to look for new research which would help direct me on how to create this look. From my previous contents page research, I still really liked the two darker contents pages, for me the male models still mirrored the kind of image that I was going for. but there was still a problem with how I was going to create this "youthful, vibrant" look that would be very appealing toward my target audience, how was I going to make it stand out and have that excitement that it needed? because the first look i was going for wasn't standing out to me, it was too dark and gloomy:
That is when I came across The first image, even though it is a front page with a female model, the color of the background along with the way she stands out from the page was very unique, this i felt would be very appealing to my front page, I wanted to incorporate the plastic, bright, over the top colorful, feel of this front page into my contents page, whilst still keeping it laid back and urban and still keeping the minimalistic approach which seems to be in all three images.
